Assembla is looking for a talented and collaborative Web User Interface Designer. Your mission is to help us design and implement a new app with a modern overall style and beautiful individual interfaces. You will help us establish the overall style sheets and style guide, you will advise us on the challenges of incorporating older features in the new app, and you will help us design new features and pages that look good and feel good. You can lead the effort, or be part of a team.

You will be working with a talented group of developers who are doing continuous delivery of a new application. You will work in a team of 3-4 UX professionals. Requirements: skills, experience, and availability

• understanding what looks good and feels good, with an artistic ability to make something look good, and a product management side that understands use cases and user experience to make a product feel good. you are able to design interface elements design as a part of product development
• ability to run a design process that includes presenting options and gathering feedback
• experience working with a distributed team and using issue management and code management tools
• very good knowledge of CSS3/HTML. you can help developers arrive at clean, standard styles and layouts
• basic knowledge of GIT to participate in Assembla development process
• experience building Web and SaaS products, with ideas about details and specific changes that will make a better product, would be an extra advantage
• experience in using measurements of usage and user responses will be an asset.

Compensation, terms, and duration of job

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity. You can be based either in our Krakow office (in the Main Square) or in our office in Zielona Góra.

Compensation depends on your skills and experience but we are ready to pay well 🙂
