GMV is now looking for:

UX Specialist

For this Job to be yours, you shall have the following knowledge/experience:

Academic requirements: BSc degree in Computer Graphics or Internet design

Experience: At least 4 years of experience designing GUI’s and directly assessing the User Experience of the proposed design

Responsibilities:

• Drive the design of new and existing GUI features from inception to production
• Liaise with product managers, users and other stakeholders to capture user requirements concerning the GUI
• Produce mock-ups to validate the proposed GUI design at early stages of the project
• Guide and counsel the developers in the development of ergonomic, user-centric GUIs
• Propose GUI-related tools and technologies to be used in the projects and its update and migration roadmap

Skills and knowledge:

• Able to work unassisted and to guide junior staff
• Service-oriented attitude, sense of initiative and responsibility for the assigned areas of work
• Accuracy and attention to details, ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks
• Usage of specific tools for creating mock-ups and prototypes for showing clients and developers
• Good English skills to communicate with both developers and with the client, if needed
• Knowledge of capabilities of Material Design, Bootstrap, others
• Knowledge of various icon sets, fonts and other GUI related components
• Highly desirable:
  • Knowledge of website technologies like HTML5 and CSS3
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Usage of tools like npm, NodeJS to update libraries to latest versions
  • Basic knowledge of Git
