Get to know us better

CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms. We create proofs-of-concept, help our clients build new products, nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments. Our clients include both tech startups and big players in various industries and geographic locations (US, Japan, Israel, Europe).

While no longer a startup – we have 300+ people on board and have been operating since 2011 we’ve kept our people-oriented culture. Our values are simple:

  • Act to deliver
  • Disrupt to grow.
  • Team up to win.

The project and the team

Your work will not be strictly related to a single project, you will be a part of an innovative team with a fresh approach to provide product design holistically as a service. We would like you to support existing and future project teams in the areas of testing, research, investigation and product analysis. Sometimes this will involve working independently, sometimes in a smaller or larger team, and often working closely with our clients. We expect you to be open-minded, flexible and keen on sharing your practical knowledge.

The majority of our projects involve building and developing a user interface for an application responsible for configuring and monitoring SDN (software-defined networks). They rely heavily on the virtualization of network functions and allows the user to quickly set up various types of network topology. These applications are mainly based on complicated and extensive data tables, data heavy graphs and elaborate process flows. But we also have projects involving big data, machine learning and processes automation, so you might be surprised by the versatility.

What else you should know:

  • Project teams usually consist of several/dozen people including a project manager, a network architect, software engineers and frontend developers
  • In general, we use SCRUM methodology but if a client requires it we are able to do magic
  • Our clients are based in the US, Israel and Japan

Your role

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting usability analysis and tests
  • Planning, moderating and reporting remote and one-on-one usability testing sessions
  • Taking the initiative in quality assurance practice is a must!
  • Collecting testing needs from our project teams, and determine priorities that are consistent with business goals and objectives
  • Creating and maintaining testing scenarios for our client’s products
  • Testing and validating features, fixes and bugs from development teams; maintaining and organizing documentation for system behavior
  • Reporting and documenting issues for our development teams
  • Presenting findings and recommendations in a plan that drives future design improvements
  • Reviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness in order to mitigate risks
  • Prototyping wireframes or lo-fi prototypes (no design skills required)
  • Close cooperation with product owner, product designerUX & UI designers, software engineers, system architects and sales team
