Job Description

We are looking for an UXer (Interaction Designer) in house at VB Polska / Fagbokforlaget V&B AS, Sopot, Poland. As an interaction designer you will be working in User Experience and Design (UED) team to design top niche publishing and e-learning products. Your role will be to create designs that just work on various platforms, especially in Single Page Application, Web and Mobile Apps domain.

 

Responsibilities:

• Create new designs, including (but not limited to) user flows, wireframes, mocks, and prototypes

• Communicate design intents to engineering teams

• Rationalize and justify design work and advocate for users’ needs

 

Desired Skills & Experience

Required Skills:

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (in lieu of degree, 2 years of relevant work experience)

• Core interaction design skills, knowledge of the user-centred design methodologies, and a good understanding of usability

• Knowledge of visual and interaction design tools also HTML/CSS/JS

• Ability to work in highly technical engineering team

• Good oral and written English skills

Additional Skills:

• Good sense and understanding of visual design

• Prototyping or front-end development skills

• Experience collaborating with user researchers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers
