Place of work: Warsaw, Poznań, remote work

Duties:

• Conduct independent research, analyze real user behavior and work with User Interface Designers, Products /Component Owners and Engineers to improve Google (G’cal, G’drive etc.) product features and Chrome extension or develop new ones for company’s employees.
• Identify new opportunities for user experience improvements in all Google products and Chrome extensions supporting employees worldwide.
• Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.
• Provide expertise, collaborating internally and occasionally leading projects.
• Work with designers, product owners, developers, business analysts to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Create new designs, including (but not limited to) user flows, wireframes, mocks, and prototypes.
• Communicate design intent to both internal and external teams. Clearly rationalize and justify design work and advocate for users’ needs.
• Work closely with user researchers to better inform designs through users’ point of view.
• Deliver the designs for each release by following through on details with the Engineering team within the Scrum environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years commercial experience in areas: HCI, UX and usability, designing mockups conducting trainings and presentations
• Fluent English
• Raising awareness and importance of user-centered design within the company
• Designing interfaces and information architecture of websites and mobile applications
• Usability testing and expert analysis
• Taking care of the highest quality of creation
• Prepare and conduct usability tests with end users and prepare reports
• Experience in Axure, Omnigraffe or other
