Role Responsibilities

• Work with producers to understand new product features (and new products) through wireframes, flow charts, and story boards
• Champion the graphic & interaction design (look & feel, behaviour and actions)
• Design the final assets for production use and deliver them to the development teams
• Oversee development to ensure that the created designs and UI interactions are to spec
• Maintain a consistent look and feel across all products and ensure that it fits with brand narrative
• Spiking rapid prototypes to see how one could interact with a product or feature
• Help define processes and tools to streamline the delivery of UX services
• Keep up-to-date on the latest design approaches and what other popular applications are doing
• Over the longer term, continue to improve UX by running primary and secondary research including interviews with key stakeholders, observation, surveys, market research, and web analytics – this may also include running user acceptance testing and feedback

Candidate Experience and Skill set

The ideal candidate shall:

• Have an incredible portfolio or work samples that are a testament to their skill
• Have worked in an agile process or similar with multiple team members
• Be masterful with Photoshop, Creative Cloud, Balsamiq, and Axure (or equivalents)
• Have excellent skills with Balsamiq, Axure and MS Office suite
• Be exceptionally passionate about user experience and design
• Have excellent people, creative, and analytical skills
• Understand responsive design with HTML5 across any device
• Have the ability to work with internal and external design teams in a collaborative, dynamic environment
• Excellent written (i.e., writing, editing, and proofing) and oral communication skills
• Have been exposed to native app design
• Be technically savvy in creating and testing prototypes [optional]
• Know how to produce prototypes in Javascript and HTML [optional]
