We have happy customers in businesses of all sizes from Fortune 100 companies to freelance designers, in six continents, and across a wide range of industries.

ProofHQ already employs over forty Polish team members in various Polish cities (Warsaw, Wroclaw, Poznań, Lublin, Gdansk and Lodz)

The Role

The UX Designer plays a key role on the product and scrum teams. S/he improves the performance and experience of the product. The UX Designer plays a critical role to ensure that both the interaction and visual design of the product create a compelling user experience. S/he should be aware of user needs by regularly observing and researching users.

This is a full-time, remote working role, so you can be based anywhere in Poland and work from your home office, the garden shed, the beach, or the slopes. We don’t care as long as you deliver and get the job done!

You need to be data-driven in your approach, but you’ll also demonstrate a creative passion that enables the teams you work with to innovate in a rapidly evolving technological environment.

Responsibilities

● Translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into elegant, intuitive and engaging experiences.

● Stay current with industry standards and connect with outside talent. Seek out opportunities for professional development and stretch assignments.

● Participate and engage with the design community. Be a vocal contributor through speaking and writing engagements. Actively test and research users. Measure effectiveness of design solutions and user performance. Share findings with the product team.

● Have a common understanding and highly collaborative relationship with product managers.

● Take a leadership role on the development team in driving continuous improvement to product design.

● Work with development to maintain design consistency throughout implementation.

Required Skills and Experience

● Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional interaction design skills.

● 5+ years of professional experience in an interaction design field.

● Experience with usability testing and user research.

● Ability to organize personal work and meet deadlines.

● Be able to solve complex problems using logical reasoning.

● Ability to communicate concepts for user experiences through storyboarding, wireframing, or other conceptual tools.

● Have a strong ability to learn from users and create patterns based on observation.

● Highly technical expertise in design field

● Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate

ideas into tangible design solutions while clearly articulating the reasoning behind them.

● Demonstrate a solid understanding of standard design principles, including grid systems, typography, and interface patterns. Strong ability to organize complex data or content interactions through visual design, information architecture, and principles of interface design.

● Proven leadership abilities on projects, client relationships, and peers.

● Strong English skills

Desirable Skills

● Design with deep understanding of information architecture, interaction and usability best practices

● Ability to prototype (e.g. Axure, Balsamiq, SketchFlow, Omnigraffle, Fireworks etc.)

● Experience with usability testing

● HTML / CSS, JavaScript, AJAX coding skills
