About the team and the role

As part of a strategy, Hapag-Lloyd will further develop and improve web and mobile applications that is why we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated UX Researcher who enjoys seeing his/her work making a measurable impact. Join the UX team of experienced professionals in our new Knowledge Center in Gdansk, and become an advocate of UX Research at large international company. Our UX team is a part of the in-house IT team. You will work together with developers, Products Designers, Products Owners, Product Managers and UX Researcher.

Your daily tasks:

• Working collaboratively with developers, designers, POs, PMs and UX Researchers
• Working directly with colleagues from all around the world
• Improve research strategy, research repository, research roadmaps and frameworks
• Running independent research on multiple aspects of how users engage with our web and mobile applications
• Collecting and analyzing user behavior via qualitative and quantitative methods, such as usability testing, user interviews, surveys, etc.
• Educating the team and the organization about UX Research
• Working with designers, product owners and engineers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Presenting research findings through verbal presentations and written reports

You will be a great fit for this role if you have:

• 3+ of experience as a UX Researcher or in similar role
• Analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills to describe user research processes, ideas, and solutions to the team and stakeholders
• Knowledge about lean UX, ResearchOps, user-centered design methodologies as well as iterative approach to product development

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Empathy for users
• Ability to give and accept feedback
• Strong passion for user experience and product design
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
• Ability to work in team-oriented environment

Nice if you have:

• Experience in working in Agile environment
• Polish or German language skills
• Experience in UX Research for international company or logistic
