Our story started in 2005 when our founder, was looking for a quick way to recruit 20 additional software engineers needed by the IT start-up he worked for in China, while saving time, money and avoiding stress. The result was the beta version of Codility: a tool to filter out the 90+% of candidates who are unable to deliver correct solutions to easy programming tasks.
You will:
- be a part of a flat product team consistent of professionals of diverse backgrounds,
- be responsible for Information Design, Interface Design and Interaction Design and ensure that they meet and exceed the needs of our customers.
- help translate ideas (business needs and user goals) into elegant, intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- own UX design projects that will include cooperation with our Development team and external contractors.
- collect feedback on your work from our clients, engineers and our Customer Success team and constantly improve usability.
- innovate and inspire the team with best case practices and latest trends in interaction design.

- You are comfortable and effective in an English speaking environment.
- You understand common software development practices.
- You are able to engage different groups of users (tech and non-tech recruiters, programmers, your mates act.).
- You understand visual hierarchy and are able to communicate through interactions, visuals, symbols, infographics.
- You are able to co-operate and efficiently communicate with the Development Team.
- You understand the work of the Development Team.

Our Team and Office(s):
We are a healthy mix of engineers and business people. We like it challenging and informal and call a loft office in the city centre (Metro Ratusz Arsenał) our ‘home’. Our office has a hammock and a (toy) helicopter, but the work we do is serious. We regularly open our office for meetups, co-workers, friends and clients.
