Job description:

We are looking for a UX Designer in house at VB Polska / Fagbokforlaget V&B AS, Sopot, Poland. As UX designer you will be responsible for creating a great user experience in our products. You will be working in wide variety of projects including: RWD content and e-commerce websites, web, mobile and desktop apps and more.

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain and verify UX in our products
• Work with engineers, product owners, editors and designers and convince others to your ideas to create a great user experience
• Find and communicate various user needs and match them with business goals
• Be an advocate for a user experience approach

Our expectations:

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience as a designer of digital products
• Good knowledge about information architecture, usability and user centered design techniques (like prototyping, user journey, personas, sitemaps etc.)
• Core interaction design skills, knowledge of the user-centered design methodologies, and a good understanding of usability
• Good English skills – both spoken and written
• Ability to be involved in a different projects simultaneously
• Great communication skills – you should be able to explain your work to both highly-technical and non-technical people

Additional Skills:

• BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Visual design skills
• User research and analytical skills
