What would you do with us?

Hi, We’re a small team of product designers at AVSystem. Our goal is to develop and maintain a global design system and ensure that AVSystem’s products are user-friendly. It’s not an easy task – millions of devices, system-engineer-like users, a lot of data to display… Seems like a challenge?

On a daily basis, we deal with a variety of problems connected to the Internet of Things and telecommunications. From creating workflows for our customers to scaling IoT systems. Working with us is a great ride from technical, protocol, and business points of view. However, big problems require good ideas, and our team is here to provide these. We’re looking for a person who’s eager to find solutions together with the design and development team and who’s not afraid to speak their mind. Aesthetic sense is also a very important value.

Your tasks will include:

• Optimization of existing user interface design
• Maintaining the component library in cooperation with developers and the design team
• Gathering requirements for new functionalities
• Preparation of hi- / low-fidelity mockups

What we expect:

• Portfolio that confirms attention to detail
• Understanding of the fundamental concepts of UI and UX
• Ease in coming up with and exploring of conceptual ideas
• Good knowledge of typography and composition rules
• Confidence working in Figma or Sketch
• Aesthetic sense
• Creativity and openness

 A big plus:

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
• Experience in developing and working with style guides/design systems
• Practical knowledge of material design
