We’re looking for a UI Designer to join our team in Kraków office. We cooperate directly with our clients, while listening to end-users. We are consultants, client’s partners and advisors. We do research, we design, we test and iterate. We work in multidisciplinary teams, with content creators, back-end and front-end developers.

Most of our projects bring significant change to people’s lives. It’s great to be on board from the first briefing to final delivery.

Who are we?

Making Waves is a full stack IT consultancy that creates digital industry leaders and helps them embrace digital transformation. Best described as a cross between a creative software house and an interactive agency, we design and develop a full range of digital services and solutions.

Kraków office consist of approximately 80 employees – developers, digital solution designers, web content specialists. The company strives to create an atmosphere in which employees can feel supported in their professional aspirations. This leads to the concept and practice of employees’ autonomy balanced with business goals.

We’d like you to:

• Have at least 2 years’ experience in design.
• Strong typography, layout and visual design skills.
• Have a strong portfolio with examples of websites, web apps and mobile apps.
• Have extensive knowledge of UX Design processes and methodology.
• Be fluent in English.
• Have prototyping skills (Proto.io, InVision, paper prototyping or whatever works for you).
• Be familiar with creating and using Style Guides and Brand Manuals.
• Be keen on creating infographics and iconography.
• Have a strong self-organization and problem-solving skills.

• Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Able to travel abroad, from time to time, to work directly with our clients and users.
• Skilled in presenting your ideas and designs (to peers and clients).
