Caspio is looking for an experienced and versatile UI Designer to join our Product team in Krakow, Poland. The ideal candidate is a brilliant, energetic and creative UI Designer who enjoys working with similar professionals in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Translating wireframes and experiences into highly-polished visual components following a user-centered design methodology.
• Creating and maintaining product style guides.
• Designing visually compelling artifacts like icons, illustrations and mockups.
• Evaluating and negotiating trade-offs with UX, product and engineering teams to define design specifications and modifications.
• Mentoring UI developers and improving internal processes.
• Working independently and requiring little hand-holding.
• Able to iterate in a fast-paced environment.
• Accepting and providing constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a UI Designer.
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Solid experience in creating style guides.
• Solid knowledge of the graphic design process including design and typography.
• Fluency in best practices for user interface designs, principles and techniques.
• Mastery of Sketch (linked libraries, nested symbols) and Illustrator.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of the Atomic Design System principles and/or WCAG 2.0 Compliance is a plus.
