The Role.

A Senior Product Designer for our Platform (Lucy) has an important role in the product team structure in AnywhereWorks. You will make sure that your designs can be consumed by different parts of the business, whether it’s our Scheduling or Answering brands. On a daily basis, you will be collaborating with a small cross-functional team end-to-end in all phases of design, from discovery to execution. Additionally, you will be part of the Product Design Team of 20+ passionate product designers that care about every pixel, simplicity, and overall great impact of their work. As a Product Designer, your job is to deeply understand customer & organizational problems and proactively take on a multitude of roles that facilitate the creation of a solution. As a UI Designer, you ensure layout, typography, and specs are pixel-perfect.

AnywhereWorks’ Executives highly value design; you will present and discuss product strategy and design solutions with partners and company executives. That’s why the ability to communicate well is pivotal for our Designers. A Designer presents and consults with technical disciplines regularly to ensure designs work within given limitations, and files are prepared with all necessary information to support the design intent. In the face of ambiguity, you empathize and collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to build robust systems that are clear and elegant.

What we are looking for.

You are an experienced product designer with a proven track record and an outstanding portfolio. You’re confident with your design process and know when to apply the appropriate methodologies to solve problems.

You’re knowledgeable and curious about emerging tools and technologies, but you pick your methods based on the needs of the project. You are used to working with product metrics and qualitative and quantitative data to inform your design decisions.

You are a strong visual designer with hands-on experience working with & contributing to design systems libraries and confident working with Figma. You have a strong sense of mobile design and what it takes to implement your designs from a global perspective and consider this in your work.

Skills & Experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product design

• At least one year of experience as a product designer working with design systems.

• Outstanding UI abilities, a keen eye for good design, and a portfolio of live projects.

• Previous experience in Figma.

• Experience contributing to mature design systems including component design, documentation, and education.

• Figma expertise, including file organization, and preparation of pixel-perfect files for design team use.

• Ability to articulate ideas verbally and digitally; be clearly understood by creative, product management, and development staff.

• Strong understanding of web development, including HTML and CSS.

• Knowledge of technical constraints and guidelines as they apply to design for digital platforms, including web, iOS, and Android.

• Keen interest in championing brand identity through a balance of consistency and flexibility.

• Experience with A11Y guidelines and implementing these at scale.

• Experience working in international teams will be a plus.
