About the role:

We are looking for a best-in class senior developer to work directly with our CTO on building our no-code platform, potentially the only one in the world that can be configured with plain language. There is no playbook, just our combined brainpower and determination to reach our vision.

This is a challenging role with significant responsibility. You will be building a highly sophisticated product with no hand holding. With our CTO and development team you will be working on creating what is essentially a new coding language that enables NLP models to build applications. To succeed at this role you need to be an expert in TypeScript & React and feel confident about deploying applications to thousands of users.

Responsibilities:

• Code the most critical back-end and front-end features of Skippet
• Extensive experience on the back-end in complex and scalable applications
• Make decisions around the architecture and feature roadmap together with the CTO
• Respond to bugs identified by users promptly and independently
• Deploy product updates to production
• Manage 1-3 developers including reviewing and improving their code

Required skills:

• At least 5 years of professional experience which includes building and deploying complex products to thousands of users with a high degree of responsibility
• Expert in TypeScript and React
• A large portfolio of projects on github
• Understanding of how to ensure software security, reliability and privacy
• Enthusiasm to work collaboratively and brainstorm ideas with founders and development team
• Interest in helping and developing junior team members

Bonus Qualities:

• Degree in computer science
• Talent in UI & UX
