IxD position will include following responsibilities:

• Adapting the generic NSN UX guidelines to all sub-systems of NetAct being developed in Wroclaw
• Designing the necessary product-specific variations and adaptations to the generic guidelines
• Planning and performing end-user/customer interviews and design review sessions
• Creating personas, mental models, wireframes, storyboards, end-to-end scenarios/workflows, detailed use cases and other applicable design deliverables
• Prioritization and design of new UI features based on end-user requirements
• Close cooperation with development teams during implementation
• Coaching the development teams with UX aspects
• Contributing towards common NSN UX guidelines and collaborating with the NSN UX community

Perfect candidate will have:

• At least 2-4 years of experience working as an Interaction Designer, User Experience Designer, User Interface Designer or related title
• Good knowledge and practical understanding of user-centered/goal-directed design methods
• A track record of designing shipping software products, not just conceptual work
• Exceptional eye for detail and ability to see the “big picture”, from pixels to e2e workflows
• Prior knowledge of mobile network technology is useful, but fast learning skills are more essential
• Visual design skills are a big plus, but the organization can help with detailed graphics creation
• Fluent skills with user interface prototyping tools such as Adobe Fireworks, Indesign, OmniGraffle, Powerpoint, paper and whiteboard; the organization uses Fireworks
• Ability to work closely with team of Software Engineers and Product Owners to conceive, create and present design concepts using wireframes, storyboards etc.
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
