Product Owner

 

Your role:

  • Formulate and present product ideas to the product team based on feedbacks from the implementation, support and customer success teams
  • Anticipate customer needs and market trends by formulating product ideas to intercept those needs and trends as they become relevant
  • Work with engineering and stakeholders to create product bets, utilizing the shape-up methodology
  • Working closely with product and marketing teams to bring products/features to market
  • Attend and contribute to product meetings – triage, knowledge share, engineering checkins

Requirements:

  • Ideally 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • E-commerce interest and experience
  • Expertise in product development
  • Product management skills
  • Solid project management skills
  • Very good command of English with effective business communication skills

The following technologies are currently being used here, you don’t need to know them, but you should definitely know what they are.

Coding: Java, Node.js, Clojure, Scala, PHP (legacy)

Back End: Elasticsearch, MySQL, Redis, Glue, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, Spark

Front End: Angular, Cypress.io, Mithril.js, Redux, Ospec, Karma, Jasmine

DevOps: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Cloud Build, Sumologic

Methodology: Shape-up, Asana, Miro

Nice to have:

  • Previous engineering/software development experience
