The startup company DeinDeal was founded in 2010 and has since become the most successful Swiss shopping platform and has more than 140 employees today. Using the catch-phrase „Get your world!”, DeinDeal provides its customers with selected lifestyle and product offers at discounted prices. In addition to a range of regional and local coupon offers with price benefits, the company has also developed channels for selected products from all around the world: „Home & Living” for furniture and interior design, „Fashion & Style” for fashion trends, „Brands & Products” for electronic gadgets, „Sport” for sports clothing and equipment, and also „Wine & Gourmet” for food and wine enthusiasts. DeinDeal purchases products from all over the world and operates its own warehouse in Muttenz.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to assure alignment for stakeholders needs
• Makes sure to deliver business and technology benefits
• Contributes actively to the product vision and ultimately owns it
• Helps make sure management and stakeholders are informed and the vision is aligned with their wishes
• Communicates the business benefits of of individual feature sets
• Helps maintain and prioritise the product backlog based on management’s vision
• Helps define product releases and sprint goals.
• Accepts/rejects developed user stories at the end of the sprint or during the sprint as relevant (we apply continuous integration)

 Requirements:

• Good knowledge in e-commerce and m-commerce
• Experience in agile development (e.g. Product Owner or Scrum Master, is highly preferred)
• True passion for design excellence, usability, and consumer appeal in products
• Appreciation for elegance in technology solutions and design.
• Understanding of customers, users, the product, and the competitive market
• Entrepreneurship – think of your team as a start-up
• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
• Sense of urgency, pragmatism, and a solution-oriented approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication and people skills – great team player
