A good Product Manager is the CEO of the product. The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the UsabilityTools’ products throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the UsabilityTools’ overall strategy and goals.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Is enthusiastic, sees problems as opportunities, and proactively develops knowledge and skills needed
  • Knows how to get things done
  • Is empathetic active listener and knows how to ask good questions
  • Is organized and systematic with great attention to detail
  • Speaks English fluently during business conversations and everyday office small talks
  • Has experience in a similar position or in the areas like: User Experience Design, Conversion Optimization, Interaction Design, Analytics, User Research
  • Has strong knowledge of online software (SaaS) products and services, broadly defined

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Specifying requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going interviews with customers and non-customers
  • Identifying and presenting innovative and creative product solutions
  • Measuring the effects of the implemented product changes
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product

This would impress us even more:

  • Experience in using web analytics (Kissmetrics, Mixpanel, Google Analytics etc.), remote usability testing tools (UserZoom, Loop11, Optimal Workshop etc.), conversion optimisation tools (Optimizely, VWO, Marketizator etc.)
  • Having a blog and being a frequent contributor to it
  • Being active in the start-up environment
