We are PeakData, a Swiss-based AI & Big Data startup developing an end-to-end data product to assist pharma companies in the drug launch process. On average, it takes at least ten years for a new medicine to complete the journey from initial discovery to the marketplace, with clinical trials alone taking six to seven years on average. One of our main challenges is in obtaining real-time insights from publicly available data sources such as social media, open web, research and medical publications, and many others.

Product Designer

At PeakData we are at a breakthrough moment. As a Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to revamp our product: first challenge the status quo by simplifying it and later build on top of this. On a daily basis, you are going to work closely with the Product Management Team* to make sure to ask the right questions and solve our partners problems. You will strengthen our full-cycle Product Discovery process and test your ideas with real people from the leading pharma companies worldwide. All of that is in line with our vision – create a world in which patients receive the best treatment available, as quickly as possible.

Are you ready to take ownership of the product design process from early concept, through experiments, hypothesis validation ending on releasing the winning concept?

Responsibilities:

• Develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts, using a creative approach
• Visualize design goals and product roadmap in cooperation with product managers
• Create a product design system
• Cooperate with developers and testers on product quality

• Making research/data-driven recommendations for change based on your findings
• Understanding high-level business direction and its impact on the application

• 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar position with a rich portfolio
• Rapidly ideate and produce multiple UX/UI concepts

• Empathy for understanding users’ perception of a product
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• An open mind for problem-solving, ready for creating and refusing ideas
• Proficiency in English
• Expert at Figma and/or Adobe CC
