Starting our journey in 2010, we have been researching and analysing social media channels with ever-evolving products. The core business of Smartnet (our company) is Sotrender – a SaaS tool for analyzing, reporting, and optimizing business communication on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. We build strong technical team and strive to develop proprietary AI technologies (machine learning for image recognition and natural language processing).Sotrender’s team currently consists of 36 people, with women making up 43% of our workforce. We have a team of people born in 2 different continents, so we communicate in Polish as well as in English.

What will you do?

Develop Sotrender, our main product, which means:

  • Take responsibility for the entire design process, from discovery, conceptualization, to validation
  • Gather requirements and cooperate with stakeholders
  • Develop the design system
  • Formulate hypotheses based on qualitative and quantitative research and validate them consequently
  • Cooperate with the product manager, development squad and product analyst

What do we expect from you?

  • 2-5+ years of experience as a UX / UI / Product Designer (ideally for SaaS products)
  • A good portfolio of projects
  • Ability to tailor the design process to business needs
  • Ability to choose research and design methodologies
  • Skills of leading workshops (e.g. discovery workshops, design sprints)
  • Ability to work in a fast changing environment and flexibility
  • Experience in agile software development
  • Proactive approach towards problem solving
  • Ability to present and justify your decisions in front of various stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Sketch / Figma / AdobeXD
  • Very good communication – you should feel comfortable talking to developers, also in remote-first settings
  • At least good command of English; very good English will be an advantage.

You will get extra points for:

  • Experience with data visualization
  • Working knowledge of Mixpanel
  • Experience in designing analytical tools or marketing tools

You are a good fit, if you previously worked as:

  • UX / UI Designer
  • Product Designer
  • UX Researcher
