Role

We are looking for an experienced UX designer who is a strategic thinker but is not afraid of the whole spectrum of UX domain tasks and hands-on approach to them. In this role you’ll be working with Meniga’s product managers to develop our fintech products and end-to-end experience they deliver. Ideally, you are not afraid of data as it’s at the heart of all Meniga products and it’s where user insights, pains and gains lie.

Responsibilities

• Develop and employ UX strategy in collaboration with key members of product teams
• Design and nurture the customer journey from start to finish, identifying pain points to solve and opportunities for Meniga to grow and improve
• Lead research activities among end-users and clients that will drive Meniga’s product development
• Obtain feedback about products/features and help product managers incorporate it into products
• Oversee and participate in UX and UI design of Meniga products, including lo- and hi-fidelity designs serving various areas of company’s operations (sales & marketing, product discovery, consultancy, front-end development)
• Evangelize and employ customer-centric mindset and methodologies within the company
• Together with product managers and engineering leads run product discovery activities
• Manage and improve the design guidelines and processes

Requirements

Must-haves:

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in product design or UX design
• Experience defining and creating user stories, user personas, user journey diagrams and information architecture
• Proven track record developing prototypes and high fidelity wireframes (ideally backed up by a portfolio)
• Experience conducting user research, including design workshops, stakeholder interviews or other live requirements gathering sessions of a similar nature
• Experience closely working with product managers and dev teams (front-end / back-end developers, solution architects, etc.)
• Excellent care for detail, clarity and aesthetics
• Exceptional skillset allowing you to draw, design and know-how to sell ideas to client and teams
• Critical thinking towards your own ideas and being ready to adapt your concepts according to any new requirements
• Excellent communication skills required for day to day coordination with people of diverse backgrounds, and excellent spoken and written English (C1 level at minimum)

Nice to haves:

• Fluency in using some of the following tools: Figma, Jira, Confluence, Github
• Experience working in the Financial Services industry
