About this position:

You are a tech person and an artist combined who will fulfil themselves as a head of a small design team. From the conceptual ideation, visualization and creative development to eventually delivering designs to MeStudent engineers, you will lead the creative process end to end.  

 

What you’ll do:

  • under the direction of our Project Manager, you will hold the creative conceptualization and development of all experiential activations
  • work collaboratively leading a small team of designers conceptualising and creating the next generation of Digital Experiences, pushing the boundaries creatively and technically
  • convert your ideas into highly usable and intuitive interfaces for simple engaging experiences
  • make informed technical recommendations to designers
  • communicate design ideas through reference packs and by creating extensive guideline documents for advertising campaigns and wider projects
  • deliver designs to our engineering team working in the Scrum methodology
  • work as part of the Brand team with research and development of creative briefs.

 

What we’re expecting:

  • minimum 5+ years in a professional UX, UI, Visual Design or Product design type role
  • extensive knowledge of  Adobe Creative Suite and Just in Mind or similar software (InVision, Axure,Balsamiq)
  • experience working in an Agile process
  • accessibility-related knowledge is a must
  • working knowledge of responsive and adaptive technologies on multiple platforms including mobile devices
  • cultural awareness of the design landscape with respect to current trends in Digital
  • dedication and ability to work under pressure and not phased by tight deadlines
  • excellent eye for photography, typography and layout, with Great appreciation for simple, image rich, usable interfaces.

 

You’ll get bonus points if:

  • you have a portfolio that demonstrates sound product thinking through navigation, user flows, interaction design and information architecture
  • you have experience working on an iOS and/or Android App
  • you have a familiarity and at least a high-level understanding of the relevant technology (i.e HTML, CSS)
  • you knew who David M. Kelley was before seeing his name here
  • you’re fluent in the Queen’s speech.
