ROLE OVERVIEW 

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Interaction/Product Designer enthusiastic about data-driven design of monetized features and premium products with UX design experience. You will be the UI design expert in a product team, working with Product/Customer Experience Designers on creating fantastic UIs and micro-interactions.

Product Teams at Brainly are working on some of the most complex technical challenges in the ed-tech space and creating a product for over 300 million students from all around the world. We focus on building the infrastructure and features that enable Brainly users to learn and collaborate, ask, and answer millions of questions every day.

On a daily basis, you will work with a fully independent product team that includes: Front-end Engineers, BI Analysts, other Product Designers and QA Engineers. You’ll be cooperating closely with Customer Experience Product Designer to execute the best quality end-to-end design process of your product area, creating valuable and engaging user interface designs. All of the features that we launch  are validated through A/B/n testing, so you’re going to have an insight into how your work impacts students and the company at large.

You will work on projects related to the monetization area of our product. This includes expansion of our value proposition and the feature set for paying users, promotion of our existing premium products, localization of features on international markets, and optimization of payment and cancellation flows. During your work, to ensure your work is of the highest possible quality, you will be provided access to all needed research materials, data insights, and a complex design system. The projects you will work on will vary from small minimum viable tests to long-term strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work in a product team with substantial autonomy and strong impact on the product
• Responsibility  for maximizing the value proposition of our product for paying users
• Responsibility for cross-device and cross-platform user experience personalization across different international markets
• Create a trustworthy and delightful user interface aligned with brand identity
• Produce interactive prototypes, test functionality and manage the design hand-off process
• Conceptualize, plan, and design tests with a very strong focus on Conversion Rate Optimisation
• Work on a growth strategy roadmap
• Create a trustworthy and delightful user interface designs
• Contribute to Brainly Design System, collaborate with the Design System Team and Interaction Designers from other Product Teams

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

• 3+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer (focused on Interaction Design, RWD with Mobile First approach)
• Experience in Interface design tools (we use Figma)
• Experience in prototyping tools (we use ProtoPie / Webflow)
• Experience in working with Design Systems
• Excellent UX/UI skills
• Expertise in the development of design, prototyping, and motion
• Understanding of HTML and CSS, JavaScript
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to solve problems together with the team
• Ability to take ownership of developed solutions
• Ability to explain ideas and designs clearly and concisely to successfully convince, motivate and inspire stakeholders at all levels of understanding – from design-unaware business people to highly-experienced designers

WHAT WILL BLOW OUR MINDS

• Academic degree in the field of design

• Experience in Adobe After Effect
• Experience in developing Design Systems

• Willingness to participate in user research as support for Product Designer
• Ability to share knowledge through workshops and presentations
• Knowledgeable about rapid testing and growth design in general
