ROLE OVERVIEW 

Do you have an explorer mindset and want to work in a collaborative organization where your contributions will make a powerful impact? Great! We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic Interaction Product Designer who will join our fully independent Web Core Experience. The team is working on creating the most engaging and delightful learning experience for our web users (mobile and desktop).

As a designer on the team, you will help develop the most useful and usable features and product experiences for a global audience end-to-end with a strong focus on user interactions. All the features are released under A/B  tests, so you’ll see how your designs work in practice and will be able to use data to improve the product.

You will be an Interaction Design expert in the product team, collaborating closely with your Customer Experience Designer partner to build products that people love. You will get to create a world-class, seamless user experience with a trustworthy, beautiful interface including micro-interactions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own design problems end to end, from initial concept through shipping and beyond
• Work in the Web Product Team with substantial autonomy and strong impact on the product
• Working with the Product Team to identify users pain points, and create solutions to  address them and bringing them to life
• Create interactions and experiences with a very strong focus on mobile
• Create a trustworthy and delightful user interface aligned with brand identity
• Produce interactive prototypes and test functionality
• Contribute to Brainly Design System and work closely with the Design System Team
• Identify opportunities for leveraging user experience
• Supporting the maximization of the value proposition of our product for users
• Research materials and techniques

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Experience Level: Regular.
• 3 years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer (focused on Interaction Design, RWD with Mobile First approach).
• Experience in working with Design Systems
• Experience in Interface design tools (we use Figma)
• Experience in prototyping tools (we use ProtoPie / Webflow)
• Expertise in the development of design, prototyping, and motion
• Understanding of HTML and CSS, JavaScript
• Ability to solve problems together with the team
• Ability to take ownership of developed solutions
• Ability to take ownership on complex cross-area (cross-team) design tasks
• Ability to explain ideas and designs clearly and concisely to successfully convince, motivate and inspire stakeholders at all levels of understanding – from design-unaware business people to highly-experienced designers
• Fluency in English (in speaking and writing)

WHAT WILL BLOW OUR MINDS

• Willingness to participate in user research as support for Product Designer
