Making Waves is looking for a passionate Interaction Designer to be part of our team and build great user experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• design Web-based solutions that are attractive, intuitive, and easy-to-use
• create solutions that balance user needs with business goals and technological capabilities
• work closely with the development team from early-stage through product launches

We don’t expect you to be a master of all product design skills, but your daily design life would include a mix of things like visual design, interaction design, quick prototypes, idea generation with PMs and Devs. Typical tools are Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Axure.

You will be working on projects developing and refining business tools used at Making Waves like collaboration platform, leaders’ information platform, etc.

By joining our highly engaged multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with designers, software developers and strategy consultants. You will create user friendly interfaces that facilitate what users want to do and delight them along the way.

WE WANT YOU TO

• have an experience in interaction design and/or information architecture
• have some knowledge and experience in graphic design
• develop and illustrate ideas and concepts through sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups and prototypes, etc.
• conduct user research like contextual interviews and usability testing
• keep your work clear, focused, and inspiring to others
• like to participate in testing and documentation
• love to work in-depth with the same solutions for a long time and make then even better
• love your job and be able to share knowledge and ideas with your co-workers
• be able to travel abroad (Oslo)
• have a very good knowledge of English
