SwingDev is part of a fast-growing insurtech company from Silicon Valley, listed on NYSE – Hippo Insurance. Our technology-first approach is modernizing the otherwise stale home insurance industry, from Internet of Things monitoring devices to our industry-leading software 🚀
We have a team of 9 skilled designers who are looking for a leader to guide them and help improve their work, with the goal to have a great time while building better experiences for Hippo and SwingDev.

What skills are we looking for?
- Experience as a Head of Design or Creative Director,
- A portfolio with case studies highlighting an end-to-end detailed design process involving both UI and UX work for digital products,
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear tasks, scope, and project vision,
- Ability to analyse research and transform them into design improvement recommendations,
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and how to take advantage of it,
- Strong command of written and spoken English (C1 level) and Polish,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge or experience with brand design is nice to have,
- Experience in leading workshops is an additional asset.
What you’ll do?
- Inspire and guide the talented and friendly design team,
- Improve the design processes for the company,
- Responsible for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members,
- Ensure that all of the organization’s creative output are consistent with the overall brand,
- Communicate with business to understand their needs and priorities
- Spreading the design culture around the company,
- Supporting the designers on design and business decisions,
- Giving regular feedback to the team and help them grow in their careers,
- Lead the recruitment processes to build a stronger design team.
