Ulam Labs is a software house specialized in building end-to-end products for companies, focusing on blockchain, crypto, and Fin-Tech industries. This fast-growing space allows us to grow with it and establish our position as it emerges.

As a freelance Designer, you will work closely with our Product Designer, Project Manager, and Client from the United Kingdom on an Ad-Tech project. 

Project description

We are building a platform to manage the ad supply chain for most of the available channels (Netflix, Spotify, ads on London Underground, BBC radio, etc). The clients are big companies like Coca-Cola, Nike, or P&G and in fact their marketing teams.

The platform’s task is to provide users with the opportunity to learn about the cost of placing ads and then buy (in an auction system) these places, allocate and reallocate advertising budgets, and upload ad files (banners, audio, video, etc). Total management and monitoring of all advertising campaigns. The platform will integrate multiple platforms and unify their ad buyback/bidding systems.

Technology Stack: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, React, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ.

Your tasks

• Researching new product ideas together with the Design Team;
• Participating in project meetings;
• Taking responsibility for product design. From idea to final design;
• Working closely with other Product Designer, Clients and Project Managers to establish and refine product requirements;
• Preparing and presenting initial drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders using storyboards, process flows, and wireframes;
• Creating aesthetic UI and visual designs;
• Keeping up-to-date project’s UI documentation and history of its iterations;
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, proposing quick fixes);
• Identifying usability issues and translating the user’s point of view into making improvements to the experience.

Your profile:

• 3+ years of experience working as a UI/UX/Product Designer;
• Experience using graphic design tool such as Figma;
• Experience working in a SCRUM/Agile methodology;
• Superb understanding of mobile and desktop UX standards and conventions;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Portfolio of design projects that you can share during the recruitment process.
• Located within the EU zone (nice to work between 9 AM and 5 PM – Warsaw time).
