What you will do:

• Plan and conduct exploratory user research and effective usability tests and distil actionable insights that drive tangible changes to the product experience
• Turn actionable insights into different concepts and low and high fidelity wireframes to facilitate feedback from your product team
• Work closely with product managers, engineering, and other stakeholders to prioritise product work according to the biggest positive impact for the user experience
• Work closely with engineering to ensure the best possible implementation of the design concept in an agile environment
• Facilitate workshops with engineers and product management to establish project scope and potential solutions to solve the identified problems in the most impactful way
• Interpret and apply the Atlassian Design Guidelines to create pleasant end user experiences, and contribute to the guidelines on a design team level
• Proactively look for opportunities to improve the design of and the interface for JIRA at all times
• Improve design thinking of the whole product team by including other team members in the various design-related activities

What we expect from you:

• Excellent English communication skills (fluent speaking and writing – you will be speaking English in the office, and will conduct research activities in English)
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as an Experience Architect or UX Designer
• Proficient in design techniques such as wireframing, task analysis, sketching, prototyping etc.
• Comfortable with applying visual style guides to wireframes to achieve good visual design
• Experience in various research techniques such as personas, qualitative research methods (usability testing, in-depth interviews), quantitative methods (A/B testing, statistics analysis) etc.
• Experience with working as a designer with software teams in an agile fashion
• Working understanding of HTML, JS and CSS technologies (we don’t expect you to code)
• Experience in working on non-consumer products, i.e. products with a professional or technical target audience (we expect to see this in your portfolio)
• Clear communicator with the ability to share your rationale for your design direction with the team
• Ability to take on and provide feedback throughout the project life cycle
• Strong workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to understand and manage the expectations of a range of stakeholders
• Strong organisation and planning skills
• Passion for elegant, minimalist design for maximum effectiveness
• Preferably some experience in designing of productivity tools
• Preferably some experience in software development life cycles

Remuneration: 

• 9 200 – 13 700 – PLN gross/month – Mid Postion
• 15 000 – 20 000 – PLN gross/month – Senior Position
