BSH is looking for an independent, tech-savvy VUI Designer to join Home Connect team, a home appliances manufacturer for brands such as Bosch and Siemens. Home Connect is an IoT platform for home appliances that allows users to control them through the mobile, smartwatch & Alexa apps. In this position you will work as a Voice Interface designer for Alexa skills primarily.

We need someone who has:

• 4+ experience as an independent UX or Product Designer
• Strong conceptual and visual skills
• Deep understanding of designing for multiple touchpoints. Experience with IoT will be a huge plus!
• Some experience in designing VUIs or chatbots. You don’t need to be a seasoned pro, but you’re willing to learn and experiment
• Curiosity for technical topics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in verbal and written English. German is a plus
• And can support their experience with a portfolio

Your role will be:

• Designing Home Connect app for multiple touchpoints (Alexa, Google Assistant)
• Designing the Voice Interaction Model, being responsible for ensuring a comprehensive dialog between users and our services
• Prototyping user flows in Voiceflow
• Advocating for users in features development
• Designing mockups & prototypes based on our Figma library
• Evaluating current state and proposing improvements to the Home Connect ecosystem apps
• Cooperating with developers, testers, product owners & scrum masters in Agile teams
• Contributing to the Home Connect design system together with the UX team
• Giving and receiving feedback within the team
