We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and highly creative Junior UX Designer to create the design of easy-to-use, intuitive and user-friendly experiences for our flagship product and its components used by thousands of professionals from the tourism industry. 

You will join a well-established user experience team and you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the tourism industry and its employees from all over the world, from 21 destinations, as well as their customers.

Your job will involve:

• Conducting research, getting to know the tourism industry, analysis of competing systems
• Conducting interviews with stakeholders and users
• Gathering and evaluating requirements in collaboration with the Product Owner
• Preparation of intuitive, friendly, useful solutions based on the collected knowledge, business needs and users 
• Refining the current design system 
• Daily cooperation with the project team and the UX team
• Communicating with people from all over the world, understanding cultural differences
• Getting to know the world of tourism from the inside out, rules, trends and fun facts

Ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 1+ years of demonstrable experience as a UX designer
• Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals and best practices (research, prototyping, validation) as well as visual design (typography, information design, colour and layout
• Ability to turn problems into solutions and positive experiences
• Eye for detail, problem-solving attitude and you are capable of working well under pressure
• Experience in cooperation with stakeholders, product owners and developers
• Good understanding of web and mobile technologies 
• Knowledge of design and prototyping tools, particularly Sketch, InVision and/or Figma Toolset
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent English (German will be an advantage)
