Overview
Tooploox passionately support international startups to grow their businesses. We’re looking for someone who’ll be a part of interdisciplinary team developing product for NowThis – the biggest video publisher in social media. As a designer, you’ll have the comfort of being able to focus on one single product for ambitious company.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the product direction decision making.
• Bring a willingness to try new things and experiment.
• Understand and advocate for our existing and future users.
• Collaborate with the entire product development and engineering team to articulate user needs, interface specifications and interaction design.
• Build prototypes, mockups and flow boards to illustrate and test design thinking.
• Work openly with the entire design team.
• Offer constructive criticism of product plans, and accept design feedback with poise.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of the principles of user research, information architecture, and interaction design.
• High level of awareness and ability in hierarchy, typography, data visualization, platform specific UI, UX, and visual design.
• An extensive portfolio showcasing a spectrum of user experience solutions.
• Consumer apps and website experience.
• Track record of successfully designing and shipping software products and services.
• Facility with designing across different platforms (mobile, desktop, web).
• Passion for people-centered design.
• An obsessive attention to detail.
• Comfortable with regular travel to NYC.
